Urgent Care Travel (UCT) opened its first location for business last week at the Pilot Flying J location in Knoxville, Tenn. The state-of-the-art facility will feature services that have never before been offered in a travel center location and supported by a robust electronic medical record that connects travelers their medical record that UCT will maintain on a secure server.
Urgent Care Travel is now the exclusive provider of urgent care services for Pilot Flying J Travel Centers nationwide. Plans call for as many as 100 urgent care sites at select Pilot Flying J locations, with the first opening in Knoxville and a second one opening soon in Oklahoma City. UCT expects to open as many as 12 locations this year, with steady openings to follow, leading to the complete roll-out of the first 100 sites by the end of 2016.
Jointly owned by Urgent Care America and J & S Capital, UCT provides a variety of supporting services specializing in urgent care. The partnership with Pilot Flying J offers urgent care as an additional service for commercial drivers, providing them with healthy options and access to medical care.
