The city of Yakima in Washington State will be the Mecca for hundreds of antique trucks and thousands of trucking enthusiasts May 30 through June 1, when the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) hosts its 2013 National Convention and Antique Truck Show. The event will take place at the Yakima Valley SunDome/State Fair Park.

On display will be everything from high spoke-wheel trucks of the early 1900s to the big 18-wheeler rigs seen on today’s highways. And this year, the National Association of Show Trucks will join up with the ATHS national convention, creating an event with even more trucks on display.

The show is open to the public each day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and tickets cost $11 per day for ages 15 and older. Admission is free for children 14 and younger with a paying adult.
