Salt Lake City, Utah, is home to the newest Peterbilt dealership in the company’s 271-dealer network with the relocation of Jackson Group Peterbilt’s flagship store to a 128,000 square-foot facility.
The new, full-service dealership includes 2,500 square-feet of retail display space and 70 service bays – six of which are certified for the maintenance and repair of natural gas vehicles.
Jackson Group Peterbilt operates nine Peterbilt dealerships in Colorado, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. A tenth is expected to open soon in Salina, Utah. Eric C. Jackson founded the company in 1977 with the purchase of a small dealership in Salt Lake City. The company is now run by his son, Blake Jackson, dealer principal of Jackson Group Peterbilt.
The parts, service and body shop are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The truck sales department is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
The new dealership is located at 1910 South 5500 West in Salt Lake City.
