Mack Trucks Website a Gold Winner in Horizon’s B2B Category

The Mack Trucks website ( was honored as a Gold Winner in the business-to-business category of the 13th annual Horizon Interactive Awards, which recognize excellence in interactive media production.

“We continue to hear lots of positive feedback about, but the Horizon Interactive Award is a terrific validation of the work we’re doing,” said Steve Tercha, Mack director of marketing and brand development. “The website does a tremendous job of presenting the Mack brand for our customers and fans around the world.”

The design of the Mack website features rotating images of the entire Mack product line. Product highlights and recent news are featured on the homepage, while the Community section allows visitors to interact with Mack product and service experts through blogs and comment sections. Visitors are also able to easily engage with Mack through social media links. In addition, the entire website was designed from the ground up to be easy-to-use on mobile devices.

The 13th annual Horizon Interactive Awards received more than 1,200 entries from 27 countries around the world including: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan and nearly all 50 states in the U.S.

An international panel of judges consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, as well as an end-user panel, evaluated the entries in categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications. The winning entries showcase the industry’s best interactive media solutions, including websites, mobile applications, print media, interactive displays, public exhibits, online advertising, video, email and more.

“This competition represents an amazing display of digital artistry, innovation and craftsmanship,” said Mike Sauce, founder of the Horizon Interactive Awards. “Our winners truly do exhibit a mastery of the optimal blend between aesthetics, outstanding content, innovation, usability and performance.”
