Omnitracs, a leading provider of fleet management solutions to commercial truck fleets and logistics companies, said Joseph DeLorenzo, director at the Office of Enforcement and Compliance for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), will deliver a keynote address at Omnitracs Outlook 2015.
The conference will take place Feb. 8-11 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, and DeLorenzo will speak during the general session at 8 a.m. CST on Feb. 10.
A 20-year veteran of FMCSA, DeLorenzo is responsible for policy and program development for the agency’s enforcement and compliance program and overseeing the passenger, household goods and hazardous materials programs.
He will discuss current and forthcoming laws and regulations including hours of service, electronic logs and their impact on current users and the industry. DeLorenzo will also update attendees on the Compliance, Safety, Accountability program and its effect on both motor carriers and drivers.
“A primary goal of Omnitracs Outlook 2015 is to bring together our customers and technology partners to take advantage of premier educational and networking opportunities,” said John Graham, CEO of Omnitracs. “Particularly given the most recent legislative developments related to hours of service, we’re confident that Joe’s remarks will be of great interest to all attendees.”
Omnitracs Outlook 2015, the company’s first-ever joint user conference, will unite fleet customers of Omnitracs and its business units, Roadnet, Sylectus, Omnitracs Analytics, Omnitracs Mexico and XRS for educational, networking and peer-to-peer sessions. Break-out sessions presented in four tracks will focus on safety, security, and compliance; efficiency and productivity; customer service; and big data and analytics.
Attendees will also get a 360-degree view of the “new” Omnitracs, its strategic vision, and product roadmap and learn how they can maximize their investment in mobile fleet management solutions.
Earlier this month, Omnitracs also announced Emmitt Smith, Pro Football Hall of Famer, three-time Super Bowl Champion, and accomplished entrepreneur, as the closing keynote speaker at the event.
