The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has announced that Teletrac Navman — a global leader in GPS tracking and fleet management solutions — is now an ATA Featured Product provider.
“Creating a more driver-friendly experience in the cab of the truck is a challenge that the trucking industry will always seek to address,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “Using technologies, like those offered by Teletrac Navman, that allow drivers to communicate with dispatchers in real-time can contribute to more productive trips and certainly makes going to work a more rewarding experience for the industry’s 3.5 million professional truck drivers.”
“For nearly 30 years, Teletrac Navman has been focused on delivering intelligent solutions that help organizations increase productivity and profitability while improving safety in heavily regulated environments,” said Daren Lauda, vice president and general manager of North America, Teletrac Navman. “Our participation in the ATA Featured Product program is further evidence of our commitment to the trucking industry, as is Director, our new fleet management platform, which tracks hours of service through electronic logs, records and stores driver vehicle inspection reports and was flexibly designed to address future Department of Transportation requirements such as the ELD mandate.”
According to Teletrac Navman, Director is the next leap forward in fleet intelligence. It provides data-driven insights to help organizations optimize their fleets and maintain safe drivers. Through a single platform, it can track HOS, improve driver performance, lower fuel consumption, reduce road violations and manage overall vehicle health. Designed to be simple and accessible, this platform allows companies to gain efficient management habits while reducing their operating costs and increasing overall revenue. The software adapts to the needs of fleets of any size and helps businesses create bigger and better success stories every day.
