Watson & Chalin Debuts Tru-Track Series for Freightliner, Western Star Trucks

Watson & Chalin said this week it has introduced the Tru-Track 13K and 20K Tru-Track Series at Freightliner and Western Star, along with an innovative direct ship program that supports the truck dealer network with best-in-class service and product availability.

The Tru-Track Series is Watson & Chalin’s most popular steerable model and incorporates its “quick-change ride height system.” Tru-Track capacity ranges from 10K to 20K, and the Super Short Rail (SSR) version offers a more compact mounting design when space requirements become critical.

Tru-Track 20K sets the standard as a robust and innovative steerable lift axle. Weighing only 1,297 pounds, Tru-Track is lightweight, yet maintains durability for any application and delivers exceptional maneuverability with an industry leading 25 degrees of wheel cut while accepting 445/65R22.5 tires. This vertically integrated suspension is currently available in truck and trailer mounts backed by W&C’s five-year limited warranty.

To keep shipping simple, dealers can take advantage of Watson & Chalin’s direct ship program. “In this time sensitive world, there is a need to have products readily available without the hassle of inventorying the product,” said Keith Rhodes, director of North and South American sales and marketing communications at W&C. “The program is designed to help meet those needs and more.”

Watson & Chalin, a Hendrickson company, is committed to engineering and manufacturing the highest-quality suspension systems in the world, delivering them to the market in a unified approach that ensures service, efficiency and value to the end customer.
